Description
A slim, somewhat lithe Pal Tamer that frequently dons a variety of metal armors, typically sticking to the heat metal armors despite his main base of operations being located in the northwestern corners of the archipelago, though he'll occasionally change into a plain cloth outfit or into the colder metal armors. Dangling around his belt are a number of satchels, his shield, and a small, but razor sharp dagger. He carries a variety of tools, primarily an axe, pickaxe, a bow, and a quiver of arrows. He's almost never seen without his shining crown, his symbol for his self-proclaimed northwest kingdom. Though most see it as just a childish accessory, it's incredible important to him and he rarely lets it off his head for more than a few moments, only taking it off to sleep or bathe. Though incredibly amateurish with it, he can regularly be seen carrying a broadsword on his back. Despite his regular work at his base and while traveling, Lucas takes extreme care to remain clean and does his best to look good.
Mischievous, playful, and clever; Lucas is well known for his ingenuity when it comes to crafting and building, being capable of creating elaborate traps, solid structures, and effective weapons even though his creations aren't always very pleasing to look at. While his base is incredibly well constructed, rigid and sturdy, it's a bit sloppy with crafting stations, chests, boxes, and furniture strewn about without any rhyme or reason. Lucas considers himself a professional thief, often targeting wandering merchants for any goods that he might find useful, though in spite of his cleverness, his methods are a bit messy and he gets caught more often than not, but routinely escapes without many issues. He is staunchly against the various poaching syndicates and the Free Pal Association, frequently coming into conflict with them, and though he doesn't enjoy killings, he has no problem with killing them. Lucas adores the various Pals he's captured and raises on his base, though his Lifmunk is most important to him. Fiercely protective of them, he's often the first to jump in defense of the base, though his companions are quick to help him. While he enjoys the companionship of his Pals, Lucas is lonely and heavily desires for the companionship of other humans, especially of those who aren't after his Pals. He's slow to trust others, often fearing they're aiming to steal his friends from him. He has proclaimed himself the king of the small strip of land he's set his base on, though no one acknowledges his claim and calls his obsession with royalty childish. Despite that, the crown he wears is vitally important to his self-esteem and he rarely lets it out of his sight. While seemingly satisfied with his life, he desires more, wanting to expand his miniscule influence to every corner of the archipelago, perhaps even someday, being a real king.
In combat, Lucas is a fairly threatening combatant. He is an expert marksman and a master of the bow, able to precisely hit many opponents in critical areas, and though he's less proficient with them, he can make great use with various firearms. On the flipside, though he can make use of swords and is capable of fighting in close quarters, his melee combat is considerably more amateurish. He is incredibly agile, capable of great feats of acrobatics, able to adeptly avoid incoming attacks and is quick enough to avoid gunfire, even at close range. Lucas is an adept climbers, being especially skilled in rock climbing, though despite his enjoyment of it, his fear of heights sometimes restricts him to the ground. He is a brilliant trapper and field strategist, using any opening he can to get an advantage over his opponent. However, his physical strength is nothing special and he struggles greatly against foes with adept defenses, and his stamina is nothing to write home about, either. His knack for rock climbing, swimming, and general strategic thinking makes him a skilled escape artist and is often able to make easy escapes when things begin to look poor for him.

Lifmunk
While not the first he had captured upon arriving in the Palpagos Islands, she's certainly the most significant to him and has remained by his side since her capture. While not an exceptional battler, she's highly valued for her crafting skills and for her ability to handily use firearms, using them to aid him in a fight. Sweet, affectionate, timid, and highly curious. She greatly enjoys joining her tamer in whatever projects he starts, being responsible for the creation of many of the arrows, armor, and shields he uses, and was even responsible for crafting the crown he proudly wears. Though she has a Pal Sphere, she tends to travel outside it, often resting on Lucas' head or in his arms.
Nox
She was first met while raiding a syndicate camp, joining his team after being freed from the poacher's makeshift jail cell. Since joining him, she's become an important part of his team, providing him with significant support in battle as her special trait gives his attacks some extra firepower. Outside of battle, she aids him in transporting goods around the base and in general, is a beloved companion. Highly affectionate, intelligent, and playful, she'll regularly be seen cuddled up to him.
Quivern
Met while exploring one of the archipelago's many ancient ruins, and while their first encounter was quite violent, the bond they share would indicate otherwise. Asides from Lifmunk, she's perhaps his most significant Pal, and arguably his second most powerful. She serves as a wall of strength, being vitally important in both combat and in travel, often aiding Lucas from the air. Quivern is just as affectionate as the others and isn't at all shy about snuggling up to even complete strangers, though she is fiercely aggressive towards those that appear even slightly threatening towards the companion.
Reptyro
Met while exploring the volcano to the west of his current base, having accidentally bumped into the Fire pal, resulting in a massive battle. Though the battle was difficult and his capture proved troublesome, it was well worth it in the end. Reptyro is an incredibly strong Pal, boasting great strength and defense. He's able to deliver lethal blows and shrug off hits that would cripple others. While on base, he regularly provides his companions with aid in mining and defense. While close to Lucas, he's not particularly affectionate and spends much of his free time napping or eating.
Wixen
Captured not far from where Lucas had met Reptyro, she had proven to be a much easier capture and since joining his party, she's made his daily work considerably easier. She's been an incredible help in cooking, crafting, and general combat. Wixen is fairly affectionate, enjoying receiving and giving affection to both her owner, fellow teammates, and the Pals at the base. In the weeks that followed her capture, several other Wixen had joined her at the base, seemingly members of her old clan prior to her capture. They've been crucial in smithing, cooking, and in keeping things organized around the base.

His Base
The tall, stable, but somewhat crudely built structure serves as Lucas' base of operations. He has aspirations of making it the headquarters for whenever he manages to properly start his adventuring guild. Consisting of roughly five floors divided between production, space for his pals, resource gathering and cooking, and his own living space, the tower is sometimes considered a bit of an eyesore by the occasional passerby and sometimes by Lucas himself, though he's proud to call it home. He and his Pals live comfortably for the most part, being sheltered from the harsh winds and cold temperatures that hit the base as night falls. Located on the southernmost island, the base's small balcony offers beautiful views of the land surrounding it. It's located close to one of the wildlife sanctuaries and several poaching syndicate camps are close to it, leading to the occasional violent attack.
